Prehistoric March - Liopleurodon
Liopleurodon was another carnivorous marine reptile. It was THE alpha predator of the seas from the mid to late Jurassic period. Fossils of this monster have been found around France.

Prehistoric March - Khaan
A species of oviraptor simply named Khaan. Mongol for "Lord"
It lived in Mongolia during the late Cretaceous period around 75 million years ago.

KHAAN!

Prehistoric March - Juravenator
Didn't really know any dinosaurs whose names started with J so I had to do some research on this one.
Juravenator was a tiny little theropod dinosaur from what is now the Jura Mountain formations of Germany.

Prehistoric March - Iguanodon
Most well known for it's large thumb spikes, Iguanodon is a very famous species of ornithopod. Discovered in 1822, it lived somewhere between the mid-Jurassic period and late Cretaceous Europe.

Our Princess
Something I originally intended to finish in time for the 1 year anniversary of Carrie Fisher's death. But that didn't work out, sadly.
So here she is. I hope I did her some amount of justice.
Long live the Rebellion. May the Force Be With You.

I got to see it last night. Holy crap! I was a wide eyed child witnessing an EVENT for the first time. It more than made up for The Force Awakens. Some of the best actions scenes I've ever seen. Also a very stressful movie since I wasn't able to predict it scene for scene. Will definitely go see it again!
SPOILERS BELOW!

Seriously. Stop reading if you haven't seen it. Go on.
Star Destroyers! X-Wings! Death Star! Vader! Original characters! It felt like the original Star Wars trilogy without directly copying it's plot points in a rushed mess. We finally get to see Y-Wings as bombers. X-wings use ion cannons to disable a Star Destroyer. These scenes reminded me of the Rogue Squadron games so hard.

Things that bothered me very slightly.
-No opening crawl. I know it's not a MAIN movie. But even the videos games (all but like... 2?) had opening crawls.
-Where the bloody hell were Wedge, Biggs and even Porkins?! They SHOULD have been there! They gave us Red and Gold Leaders. So WTF? I was really hoping to see at least Wedge.
-No final goodbye scene with Bail Organa and Leia. I'm glad they were in this movie. Couldn't help but smile when Bail showed up. Thank you for acknowledging the prequels! But it seemed like a sure thing to have them together at least once. NOPE!

Things I loved!
-New characters that were easy to fall in love. Each with their own very unique personalities that weren't just gender swapped version of the original characters.
-Classic X-Wings and Y-Wings.
-Classic Star Destroyers
-Classic Star Destroyers being RAMMED INTO EACH OTHER HOLY CRAP!
-Death Star "Low Power" Laser basically NUKING that city. Like... it's nice to know they have the option to leave a massive scar on a planet instead of destroying it to make a point.
-CG Tarkin actually looked pretty awesome. It was more noticeable at first. But when you see him later I couldn't tell.
-Darth... Vader... was used PERFECTLY! too much more Vader and I think his role would have been saturated. The way he slaughtered those Rebel troopers at the end... one at a time. Combining Force and lightsaber attacks when he could have just choked them all out without moving. Finally we got cold, ruthless, angry Vader that we see in the books and comics.

History records that, just days from now, a tremendous upheaval took place as the ground cracked and broke apart, tornadoes spun counter to their nature, and even Godzilla bowed as you appeared upon the Earth to grace us with your art. And so it is wished upon you to have a Happy Birthday on that day....and a most excellent cake. :D (Big Grin)  Have your cake and eat it too
